Having seen what indie game developers are capable of, yet plagued by the reality that those with the skills and time to make games don't seem to want what I want, I have decided to take on the challenge of a lifetime: I want to make a game with all of the content that I've ever wanted.
In the years that I've been playing games and dreaming of being good enough to make my own, I've always been missing one thing, which is the skill to program them. However, I have had the good fortune to meet someone who is willing to share many years of knowledge with me. For free. And free, my friends, is always the right price.
I won't kid myself; I'm not a programmer, and I'm not the best artist out there. But skill isn't the main thing that holds people back. What holds people back is fear, both of failure and of success. That and laziness... but I digress, since lack of motivation is not something that I've been troubled with in the past few years.
My goal is to create the game that I've always wanted, and spread it around the world for all to enjoy.
Who knows? Maybe people will like it enough to pay my rent, so I can quit my boring job :P
